DV Boot, What does it cost to replace?

56,000 on the axle, Im at college so I dont have the tools to do myself

Default meh, I say just go for the boot
get it changed ASAP though. If all the grease gets flug out of the boot or dirt gets in there it'll mess up the joint

Default bring the axle to a cv joint place, have them rebuild the axle and then put it back in
should be like 150-200 bucks

Default more like 1 hour plus 3 more hours of clean up
It took me like 4 hr total from start to finish. I work slow tho.

15 dollar for a boot, compares to what $150 for an axle? I say go for the boot only if you have the time to diy.

yeah and gloves help a ton. The CV grease stained my hands. It took like 3 days to go away

really, I thought axle grease comes off pretty easy
