I was wondering if anybody with a 2001/2001.5 a4 with the CH ecu has a K04 and dyno'd it. I'm curious if a K04 and an exhaust will break 200WHP.

results were that the torque was about the same, but the hp was a little higher for the K04.
also, the quarter miles times are the same.
so, what gets you there is the same #.
I don't think anyone has ever put a K04-15 on an '01.5

My best run in 60F weather was 175/210 with the CH x-chip. My last run in 80F weather was 165/195 with an FMIC. I'm curious what the K04 will buy me. Sounds like more HP which should equate to the torque curve extending out to higher RPM.

I'm running a ch_K01a.08a file in my '01 Passat and Jeff Moss recently told me there is a ch_K03a.08a file for these ecu's, but AWE denies it exists. Typical for them. The k01 file has been running great, boost just lower in cold temps, but MAF readings still in the 170's-180's. I'm plannong on getting a dyno run within the next month.
