Is it easier to replace ONLY the shocks than to do BOTH shocks and springs?

The oem sport springs have nearly identical spring rates to H&R Sports.
So I figure keep the oem sport springs, drop it 10 mm with the Neuspeed Bilsteins, and save myself a couple hundred bucks by not buying new springs.
I only want a slight drop, so it sounds perfect.

the billsteins are not going to be that big a difference. I don't know what kind of improvement you're after, but unless you're getting a killer deal on the shocks the diff is marginal (from Sport).
Now the diff between reg and sport is another story.

that a lot of times people are doing stuff to their cars for the sake of messing with em. Do whatever makes you happy but see if you can get a little wheel time in a Nue Bill setup and you judge.
