Default Yup. ...edit...

EBC's bite better in my opinion..
About 25k miles on the Mintex pads,
About 25k miles now on my EBC's..
No squeeling, noise or anything with either pad.
I'm using these pads with EBC Sport rotors.
Dustlessness is similar enough.

Default I guess.. they're just rotors..

No real way to tell what my rotors are doing honestly.. They're just stock replacement size.. They don't rust as bad as the Zimmermans did. And the whole system is holding up great after some spirited runs through the desert mountains.
They make a neat whirrring noise, but expected since they're slotted. They look great too.

Default Depends on your rotors: EBC require rotors that . . .

handle the higher heat the kevlar pads generate. I hot spotted ATE powerdiscs three times before I switched to Mintex Redbox. Yes, I bedded the pads in very carefully. The problem?: the eliptical slots on the ATE's exacerbated the heat generated during braking and the discs just could not handle it. With Mintex, the same rotors do not overheat, simply because Mintex pads do not create such high temperatures.

EBC's unquestionably stop better and have better initial bite, but you will need smooth rotors and/or high quality rotors to run them.

Both rotors create little dust; I found the EBC's kevlar created less than the Mintex.
