Mintex Red Pads should be fine for day to day use. WAY less dust than stock.

Default I have mintex reds right now and I'm not impressed
Noisy, dusty, gouge the rotors, and very poor performance when stone cold (first stop). They work very well when warm.

Default Mintex Redbox are too hard
They will cause the rotors to form hard spots. I had them on my car for a while. They created a bad shudder due to the hard spotting of the rotors.
