Default Ecru leatherette a problem ?

Did a search on the archives for "ecru". Several people
complained about stains from blue jeans and the like.
Most of these posts were from 1997. It gets awfully hot
down here in Texas, would prefer ecru/onyx ambition
interior, but not if the ecru is gonna be a bi**h to clean.

Feedback appreciated !

Default None so far...

Me: Ecru leather and 33k miles - no problems or stains. Co-worker has Ecru leatherette and 40k miles and it too looks like new. I would buy it again.

Normal cleaning keeps it looking great. The back seat is hardly used and the front seats look just like those. I prefer leatherette to cloth or leather. The rest of the car is Santoran blue. Looks sharp.
