Default ECS Stage 1 - 13.1" 2-piece rotor + Porsche Calipers Possible?

Hey guys, I'm purchasing a 98 A4 that has the ECS stage 1 2-piece rotors on the car. Will those rotors work with a Boxster or 996 caliper? If so will it need different carriers or anything? Thanks in advance guys.

Default are those rotors installed backwards? And yes ECS sells caliper carriers

that will fit the boxster calipers on the 13.1" rotor. Better check the wheel template though.

Default Thanks for the input TightTT, better to get new rotors due to age or warping?

The rotors only have like 8k on them. But I'm curious as to why you recommend new rotors. I was hoping I could use them since they are lighter than buying an solid 1-piece rotor to use with the Porsche brakes.

Well anyways, thanks man.

Cool What else do I need to buy from them if I buy the calipers myself?

Default Stage II uses a 12.3 inch rotor...not a 13.1 ......then again...

ECS has conflicting info on their site. From ECStuning.com:

Stage II version 1: Four piston Porsche monobloc calipers with custom mounting brackets wrapped around rotors up to 12.1 inches in diameter

Then right under that...infront of the pricing it says: ECS Stage 2 Big Brake Kit - (BLACK Porsche Boxster Caliper, 12.3 One Piece Rotor

So witch is it...12.1 or 12.3??

Default I was thinking the same thing

I think he has the rotors on the wrong wheels. If the other side looks like that you should switch them.

Custom caliper carriers. Good luck w/ that. ECS does not sell those separately.
