Default To Ed Palisoc (again) -- Nokia handsfree installed BUT mic not working properly... HELP...
I followed your instructions and everything is working great, except there's a ton of "buzzing" interferance in the mic. When I talk you can barely hear my voice over the buzzing noise. It's present with or without the engine running. I'm looking into my project box and RJ45 patch box. Is it possible that the shielded mic pos. wire is picking up the interference in the RJ45 box at the end where the neg. shielding wire is removed?

Default use microphone potentiometer to adjust mic level
trial and error
that is what voicemail is for

I did the simple kit w/o the mic adjustment, since others seemed to have success w/o the potentiomet

Does this mean I have to add the potentiometer circuit in order for it to work?

others replaced the factory mic with the nokia mic to fix it

PROBLEM FIXED -- !*@#&% piece of solder was lodged between the pins! removed it and works great!
