Well its time for a new set and need advice.
2000 A4 2.8 Quattro

First of all, I just had a daughter-- so I am on a tighter budget than normal.

Looking for recommendations/reviews of AA traction tires-- I simply can't afford to rip through AAA traction tires anymore and need a little more distance and roadwear.

Please put in your reviews, average mileage, performance, handling comments along with MSRP.

If cost of tires is this much of an issue, perhaps having a child wasn't the best idea.

Default where are you from? That's an unusually blunt remark!

Default Kuhmo ASX seem the best for reasonable performance and wear ratings (420 or so)

That said, I have never used them... looking at them for my wife's Mini Cooper S.

Default I have them, so far I like them a LOT. Very grippy, not too noisy, not too hard, decent snow grip...

great rain traction..

Default A few good recommendations of mine, all tires i've owned on other cars

Good performance with all weather capabilities(very quiet)
Pirelli PZero Nero M&S
Traction A
Temp rating A
Treadwear 400
205/55/WR16
$104

The most economical tire (best choice in my opinion):
Yokohama AVID V4S or H4S
Traction:
Temp rating
Treadwear
205/55/V16 or H16
$83.00

Hope this helps, they are all on Tirerack.com.

Disregard the other person's comments, just being goofy.

Default I like my Kuhmo Ecsta ASX also, but...

I must have them balanced every two to three weeks....can feel some vibration on smooth roads....don't know if its the tire...or the crappy roads and potholes in SLC during the winter....but do like the traction and wear so far..225/50's with about 5000 miles
