After a long winter my engine bay need to be cleaned. After washing it, I had enough sand/dirt on my drive-way to make a beach in my back yard...enjoy the pics.

First spray down the engine bay: make sure to have one of those adjustable hose nozzels with 8 types of settings. U do NOT wanna High pressure water in the engine bay...
Second: simple green is safe...However u can NOT let it sit for too long..
I sprayed engine with simple green wait for about 2 minutes then hose off. Then re-do again. I did 6 times...
Then let is sit for 30 minutes...
Then grab paper towels and start wipping things down...Use finger at hard to get at places....
When everything is dry....
Then time to use: (Well all of u need to find something else) In my case i use this Zymol stuff. Its a Vynil/rubber protectant. The problem is I can not find it ANYMORE!!! I have looked all over nobody carries it....
.
With the Zymol...spray it on a small piece of paper towel....and go to work...EVery hose, wire harness, or plastic...also do the wire connectors. Basic everything exept metal and painted surfices....
Ohh and about the Zymol stuff...IT does NOT attract ANY dust, and it lasts for over 6 months.
I also use this stuff on my interior...dash seats, everything except the windows...
If any of u come across this zymol stuff....I will buy u a bottle for finders fee...
