Long Term Fuel Trim Add.Fuel, Bank 1 System too rich.

Problem part: N80 - Evaporative Emission (EVAP) Canister Purge Regulator Valve

Check the following:
Evaporative Emission (EVAP) canister purge regulator valve
Fuel injectors
Fuel pressure regulator and residual pressure

Default thank you....when idoling the rpms jump around from 500-1300rpm

car stalls once in a while b/c of this

Any suggestions?

Replace the EVAP canister on top of the air box. It looks like a small film canister.

Default Thats the purge valve Nate

The canister is actually closer to the gas tank. The purge valve controls the flow of vapors into the engine to get burned. The canister collects them out of the fuel tank so they don't escape into the atmosphere.

So how do you know this is the problem with code P1137 (my problem also.. 97-A4-1.8T)? Other posts talk about the pre-cat O2 sensor and MAF sensors being the cause...

Please advise.
