Sorry to bother you all again, but are there many mods for the engine out there for the 2.8? I've been looking on the Internet all day today and haven't found much. All the chips add no more than 10 HP, kinda depressing after the 60-65 HP I was looking at with the GIAC Chip for the S4. So if anyone knows of good companys/sites that have mods for the 2.8, reply.

Stage 3 MAF from abnormally aspirated, cone air intake, exhaust, chip... those are the biggies. I am assuming you have a 30v, or course. if it is a 12v check out the 12v performance forum here on AW

I'm actaully going to be buying one shortly. I'd like to get a '98-'01, so a 30V. That 385 HP with the supercharger sounds nice! Much cheaper than installing K04s on a 1.8T, isn't it? But one mod kinda takes the fun out of moding a car...

With SC u only get HP, but ur car wont handle or brake better. SC is jsut the beggining of modding a car :-)

exhaust, intake, i heard they made headers, but i doubt youll see much and G2 is only real gains.

There is one other thing not mentioned... I haven't found anyone to install them yet as you would need some ECU reprogramming. The SC also requires for the tip a better torque converter.
