Engine mount vibration LESSENED...
Ok, I was one of the more vocal users of the APR engine mount. Finally, after about 700 miles on it, I got some time this morning to try out the "final step" that was not in my instructions.
I loosened the mounting point from the engine and revved the engine a couple times. Shut off and retightened the mounting plate. Vibration is much reduced. I like it. I like it a lot.
However: do not consider this an endorsement. It is much more vibration than stock. It increases the amount of noise that an aftermarket exhaust makes in the cabin. If you are even thinking about doing this, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE go ride/drive in a car that has one first. Decide if you can live with the cons to get the pros.

Glad to hear it.
I actually did the same thing over the holiday weekend with the same results. The vibration at idle is reduced but still more than stock. It still vibrates the seat and dash, but no the steering wheel as much.
I do endorse the mount, but be aware that the vibration will make the car less comfy.
