Well after completing my oil change last night (in <30F garage...yumm) here are my thoughts....

Damn that freakin lower cowling is a real bitch...not "hard" to remove ...just a bitch..After that its smooth sailing...

Two things though...

One of the Right front wheel well fasteners was loose when I removed the cowling, and when I was trying to secure it back, I found out why...the retaining catch on the cowling must be broken or something (i didnt do it)...Also the cowling has a 4" crack in it...I could see no evidence of road impact to cause the crack...

Since This is the first time that anyone but my dealer has done an oil change...obviously they either cause the two defects or it came like that...

Will it be diffcult to get a new cowling replaced under warranty?
