Engine won't shut off, not ignition switch!

Just had the same problem with my Audi Cabriolet 2008... When I searched on the web, I came across this thread... I replaced the break light switch and woooow, It worked.... Thanks for the contributors as it saved me the hassle of going to a garage and being treated like an idiot while extracting hundreds of euros from my wallet in the process... The break light switch only cost 15 euros !! ....
