Default euro kids: question on parking lights/turn signals...

do the euro A4s have that nice "if I leave my signal on the parking lights for that side stay on when parking" thing?

I am assuming it is the turn signal/hazard ligth relay that controls this...

would anyone be willing to source the part for me?

Default from my understanding...

I think this is what you are asking

US

first click
parking light: on
low beam: off
second click
parking light: on
low beam: on

Euro

first click
parking light: off (city light on)
low beam: off
second click
parking light: off (city light off)
low beam: on

Anyways... I used couple of automotive relays and this picture and wired up my city light as such...

Default In Europe if you park at the side of a dark road u can switch the lights on on one side using the

turn signal switch.

Default I was thinking about it... and I would be very surprised if it weren't the turn/hazard relay..

since I am not sure what else gets the input from the turn signal stalk....

but then again, that only controls the turns, not the parking lights.... hmmmmm

so maybe I would need the turn signal relay and the parking lights? hmmmm... I guess in theory, I could build my own, but....

hmmmm.... time to (ugh) look at wiring diagrams...

Default yeah, you pull the cover over the hazard light, it is right there... pull straight out with pliers..

that would be SO dope... I would LOVE to have the (rather boring) feature!

so long as it is gonna be cheap... I'll totally kick you cash...
