Default well boosted had the same symptoms as me and it was his pins that are connected to the wires...

i swapped cp's still cyl 2 misfire, swapped plugs as well as fuel injectors, same issue ... checked for leaks and used carb cleaner to test, still nothing, and it throws a open circuit code on the vag ... meaning it would be an electrical issue ... right? So i feel like that leads to the harness. When my cel light would come on ... it slowly would come on more and more often ... started with once a day, then twice a day, and then eventually it was consistantly on ... sounds to me like there was a loose connection from the pin to the connector ... and it finally fried. Once the issue was continuous it wouldn't even start, then i noticed my ecu fuse or whatever was blown, replaced it and now the motor starts but still has the misfire. I'm thinking when the pin/wire shorted it blew the fuse to the ecu.

Does this all make sense? Everything seems to lead to the wiring/pins ... boosted had the same codes/symptoms as me and it was his pin ... what do ya think?

Thanks

Default did you pull back the rubber boot on the connector and check the wiring?

does it look corroded or melted or anything?

anyway, if its the wiring and their are 4pins...you'll need two repair wires.

either solder or butt end crimp them on to the cut harness.

you'll need to push the pins out of the existing connector or just buy a new connector.

Default It has to be the wiring, what other electrical component would die on me like that?

For this specific problem?

Default

well if you have code for open circuit at the coil pack, then it probably is the wiring.
