everyone talks about the V1 detector, but dont any of you guys use radar/laser BLOCKERS?

In the great state of AL they dont always use detection devices.
My friend and I got tagged by two officers who just timed us between two overpasses and then averaged out the time. It was very sneaky

inaccurate system
how do you precisely establish a start and finish points in time. If either the start time or finish time wasnt precisely recorded, then the output of the metering system is goign to be inaccurate to the actual speed being traveled.
If the first officer was at overpass A and either clicked a stopwatch a seccond too late, then a quarter mile down the road when his budy tells him to click it again on radio... if you were going 60mph and at that rate the distance should have been run in 15 secconds... however if you did that in 14 secconds or the recorded time was 14 secconds then the speed recorded for the distance would have been higher than 60mph.... the recorded speed would be 64.3mph Which is not what I call precision metering.
That also doesnt take into account a change in rate during the distance elapsed.
What if his buddy down the road says to click the stopwatch too soon... effectively reducing the time again (it is in their interest to catch you screwing up) and odds are they want to catch you screwing up too.
So lets say what should have taken 15 secconds now takes 13 secconds and your recorded speed is now just shy of 70mph when you were actually going 60mph. Or if you were going 70mph you're now recorded at just over 80mph. Basically they're 15% off now.

from what I understand, blockers are illegal.
Detectors are legal (in most places) because they only recieve signals. Once you get into blockers, they usually transmit a signal to block the radar/laser, and thats illegal to transmit anything without an FCC license... i am not sure how you would get caught cuz half the time they sell you BS and you cant complain because its illegal to use to start with! its really a waste of money, but i have some info laying around if you are still interested.
