Excessive oil in intercooler and throttle body on my 1.8t (bad turbo?)

The oil consumption is high about 2 qts every 4500 mi,it detonates also.

Excessive oil consumption,a lot of blow-by,and frequent detonation.

Sounds like collapsed ring lands.Could also be broken ring or a stuck ring or a combination of the above.

or filled up too much oil. there should be an easy way to flush the intake every now and then

after the turbo, before the manifold

Never over filled,where could the blow by be coming from before the intake?

the big black tube above your exhaust manifold routes blowby into the intake
