Experiencing problems with downshifting on Tiptronic
Anyone experience this problem:
Downshifting 2 gears down and having no power come until 5k RPMS. The tach will climb from 2k to 5k really quick and not feel power til red line?
What may the problems be? bad tranny, failing turbo...

Well. Actually YES. Chipped for 2 days b4 I had this problem
Went to the dealer trying to find a solution to this problem and finally we come across the tranny as the culprit. I'm still under warantee so hopefully I get a new tranny. Just need to find a Stock ECU from a junk yard.

Well, it's happened to me before, and seems to be common on chipped cars.
The tranny seems unable to lock sometimes when under too much torque. So far, no permanent damage here -- just an occasional problem.
