Default Exploded hose, need help identifying!

I was doing an oil change today and noticed under the hood that a hose was in 2 pieces and must have exploded.

After looking for a diagram of under the hood for hours I'm unable to find one and hope that someone can help me with a diagram or identifying what hose is broken and what it does.

I need your expert advice please!

(Pictures below)

Thanks!

Ryan

Doesn't look like it exploded, just old and rotten. I don't know that engine, but with the oil I'm going to guess that it is part of the PCV system.

Default pvc system?

Thanks!
So if it is a pvc tube then its only being used to transport air and not fluids thankfully. Makes sense since none is leaking from it.

If there's a leak in PVC system and the car has been driven what could happen in terms of bigger issues?

I got a number off of the hose so I'm going to call Audi tomorrow and hopefully get a replacement.

Anyone else have any thoughts/suggestions?

Yes, don't go to the dealer. I did this at the hardware store for under $10.
