Default Favorite car wash soap??

I know that dish soap is OK if you are going to polish and wax afterwards since it removes the old wax. What do you use for washings between waxings to preserve the shine?

Default Foliatec Red!

Oooop, sorry...wrong question...
another vote for P21S! Does a nice job of cleaning the paint, doesn't strip the wax, and it smells great too!

Default I think they are all about the same, as long as you have a good base of wax.

I don't think there is any advantages to using the more expensive brand. I just use whatever's cheap cause I like to wash my car twice a week and go through it fast. As long as you have a good polish and wax over it the car will look great no matter what you wash it with. Except dawn and other wax stripping soap of course.

Default Yes and no.

I've actually found that P21S does a better job of removing grime from on top of the paint than some of the other run of the mill brands like Turtle. If you wash your car religiously, it probably doesn't matter that much, but mine will go 4 weeks between washings (or in the case of a drought, 10 weeks :-( ).

Default were you guys prohibited from washing your cars in the past several weeks???

I've heard of some bans in MD. Luckily here in VA I am still allowed to wash my car.
