Just a few basic questions:
-Will the metallic tint interfere with my radar detector?
-On a Pearl A4, what % would you recommend, and can anyone post some pics of a pearl A4 with tint?
-Whats the best brand of tint?
-Does anyone know of a good Tinting shop in the Boston area?

Most detector have only a front facing radar antenna. As long as your front windshield isn't covered with the metallic tint, you're not likely to notice any appreciable differences, because the antenna still has a clear view ahead.

With a valentine one radar detector (the only one I know of that employs two radar antennas), rear radar sensitivity might be impaired a bit, this could also throw off the directional arrows a bit, but I wouldn't be concerned...the effect is likely to be minor. Lidar sensitivity from behind will likely be impaired a lot, however if a cop is using lidar in that fashion, the laser detector isn't likely to give you any warning until it's time to pull over...so again, not really something to concern yourself with.

I personally didn't wanna go too dark and to me the 35% was just too dark for my taste. Because of the angle though it seems a lil darker than it really is.
