Default Filling holes in bumper

I just picked up a used 2001.5 A4 from a dealer in Illinois where a front license plate is required, so a license plate bracket was installed.
I live in Michigan where front license plates aren't required and therefore would like to remove the bracket. Problem is there are three holes that have been drilled through the plastic covering the bumper used to mount the bracket.

Does anyone know how/what could be used to fill these holes? I've seen pictures of cars (especially VWs) that have been 'smoothed' which entailed filling things like the holes left from removed sidemarkers, etc.

Any help in locating a product and/or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

Default Well, if you fill the holes...

your going to have to have it repainted anyway. May as well take it to a body shop, shouldnt cost more then $100 or so..

Default What to do...

Go to your dealer and pick up a box of touch up paint. It is nice to have anyway. Then go to Lowes and find the plastic fasteners next to the nails. I believe they are made out of vinyl and look sort of like a milky white. I don't have the part number, but they are "T" clips. Then with a fine grit sand paper rough up the top, paint it, wait for about a day to dry(otherwise you will put fingerprints in them). Then put them in the holes. Unfortunately I don't have any pictures, but I did it to both the Passat(RIP) and A6, and It looks great.

Default yeah, and the best part is the...

melted hole in the bumper from the exhaust of the person I "bumped" into... it works wonders for airflow to the intercooler. Well at least it would of the car still moved under its own power...

Default HAHA, yeah, I know what you mean...

I was in an accident with the Passat(16k miles). I told the shop that I didn't want them to drill holes in the new bumper. Turns out the car was totalled so it didn't matter. But hey, they A6 is much nicer

Now if I could only get my A4.
