I'm selling my 1.8T Saturday morning and I have been feeling a little nostalgic about AW. I have been lurking around here since early 1999 when there was a different layout to the site. In those first few months before I bought my 99.5 in May 99 I was given a tremendous amount of input from the likes of Craig B, Gordon Martin, Sean Griffin and his awesome website, DonP of Houston, etc. This is a fantastic site that has a terrific sense of community and it has been a pleasure to be a part of it. I have spent some time at some other sites like bimmer.org where everyone is fighting and mbnz.com where the message boards are slow moving and nothing seems to compare to what goes on here at AudiWorld. The founders of the site need to be praised for all of their work to make this a great site.

As far as the car goes...I am really sad to let it go, but she is going to be in the good hands of another enthusiast. Every time I get in it is like spending time with an old friend that knows all of my moves and vice versa. It is the only car I have ever owned that I look forard to driving every day. I will miss the smooth steering and perfectly shaped steering wheel, the assured grip of quattro, the connected feeling of the shifter and the whine of the turbo. Owning an Audi has been more than ownership, its been an experience.
