Default finally eliminator turbo is in!! getting the tune tomorrow, hopefully all this trouble was worth it

Installed a few other things while I was at it. An M-factory catch can and phenolic intake manifold spacer, super easy installs.

Here are some pics...

tubing is a full 80mm before the MAF, fit perfectly with some machined elbows from ATP:

Default Very nice! I'd like to get a set up like that. Have a few questions though so I can get mine set up.

1. What MAF housing are you using?
2. I see you have plugged a spot on the TIP. Is that for anything particular you might use in the future?

Looking good! That intake position will work perfectly for any headlight-less track days

everything looks really good, but I wouldn't have done that phenolic intake manifold spacer

Default I've actually had very good results testing phenolic spacers.

They work very well and do exactly what they are supposed to when they are made of the proper material.

Default If you have problems w/MAF readings, it will be because of all the bends leading in.

I had problems with a 5 cylinder with a similar (as far as bends) air intake having large bends leading into the MAF. I was told by the Germans that you need 6" of straight flow before the MAF or the air readings would be off. In the situation I had, the problems straightened out when I got the 6" straight piece in directly before MAF

I hope you dont run into a problem, but if you do, the turbulent air coming into the MAF should be investigated as it is not metering correctly. Remember that only a small area of the MAF volume is actually sampled.
