A couple weeks ago, i had a kumho blow out on me at 70mph on the highway. The alignment was horribly messed after that, so i went to get an alignment done.
Here for starters is Turbo-love, my car...didn't have a chance to detail her for this, but you get the idea:

So onto the alignment. Here i am at 8:00am waiting for my appointment:

Here are a few photos from the alignment process.
Here is my car getting on the ramps:

Here the car is fully on the ramps:

Here is the car up with the hunter machine doin its thing:

Here's the car at the end of the bay:

The results, well, they are great. The car was waay off alignment, all 4 wheels. The drivers side rear wheel, the one which had the blowout, was really out of spec...so i had to have a 4 wheel alignment.
The shop is great, they have all hunter machines, including a hunter mounting machine for anyone wanting to mount tires. They were more than happy to let me take pics of the process once i explained to them that Mark P is my hero and im emulating him!![Smile](https://www.audiworld.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
The car drives wonderfully now, the steering is true as an arrow, and i can be feather light with the wheel...a remarkable change from the tortured offset i had from the blowout. Tonight i visited a friend in Burr Ridge, and it was a joy to drive the car.
I would recommend the shop highly, Motopersona recommended them to me.
BTW the tech told me that a 18" is the largest he can get on the hunter machine (FYI to 19"ers). Also, the machine will actually grapple your wheel...i didn't know this so PLEASE mount your winter rims and get the alignment done. My wheels are fine, but i would rather have put on my 16's, done the alignment, then put the summer shoes back on.
Finally, to **** off Mooseboy, here's my Miata from afar:

Since she sits outside, she needs to get detailed before i dare take pics of her. These pics were all 1900x1200, but the picture poster resizes to 640x480...dunno what to do to get around that.
Cheers

And thanks for the review of the shop, too. I am definitely overdue for an alignment... under warranty would be nice, but since I ain't JeffK w/ his special socks, guess I'll have to pony up the $75.
