how is that circular baffle gunna protect the dome? One slip of a foot and that domes crunched.
The aluminum baffle will help if you hit THAT. But the toe of a shoe can fit inside and destroy that. Also.. I think it would look cleaner with a grill. Nice speaker though.

That's not an issue. You'd have to do it on purpose. given the location and angle of the speaker.
The tip of the dome site back, depthwise, around 1.5"+ in from the edge of the alu plate.
