presto, all of a sudden 4 new coil packs showed up ready to be installed in my car, what do you know?

and you were able to get them replaced? I have been trying to do the same thing and they keep saying that they can't cause of low stock. Please tell me what I would do to get the same service.

Well, my fiancée has been handling everything and she was in a store this weekend and overheard two women talking about their A4s being at the dealer for coil pack problems...so she intervened and basically said we were having the same problem...one of the girls mentioned she put in a call to the district manager and in turn was able to get her coil packs replaced after having the car there for a couple weeks...this AM, my fiancée left a message for the district manager and within 20 minutes she got a phone call back from the guy we are dealing with in service and he basically said they just got in 4 coil packs for our A4...they want us to pay for 3 of them but over my dead body will I pay for those...

so they want you to pay or are you just getting them at audi's expence?

They want us to pay for three of them but as long as those coil packs have letter H at the end of them I don't see what we should have to pay....
