Default i agree with you on the safety and thats why i played around with the whole

thing before i did the soldering. if you read the post i posted about the brake light beeing on when the fogs are used that way. maybe i get a diode from tomasz if i would use the rear fogs but i doubt it. i will see how it looks later on this evening

Default I added the second fog for safety reasons. We get over 500" of snow here a year, visible is key.

I uderstand in rain/fog having just one on the drivers side is more of a visible key to drivers behind you. In snow however it's not the case 2>1 IMO an from expirience. We also might have rain 3-5 times a year max, but with fog on occasion either way snow was the driving factor in my going about doing the dual rear fogs.

Default You will need pretty HIGH wattage Diodes, or else they will burn out very quickly... My Idea:

is to switch the positive wire for the fog light and the brake lights, that way the rear fog light button turns on just the brake lights in the housings, not the middle one, and when hitting the brake, the 2 rear fogs will come on with the center light... (just like Jettas, the parking light is on bottom, while the brake is on top, not in the same spot like ours)

This would also make using the rear foglights better, as the parking lights in the rear would be brighter( the bottom lens), I bet no one would know the diff behind me, as brake lights are meant to be on with ppl behind you...

I've been trying to find a non soldering method to do this, so it is reversable, but the pins in the plastic plug are being a b!tch to remove, even following the update the rear tails to 99.5+, since they require some wires to be moved... and then I forgot about this mod, I think you just got me into doing it again
