Default Finished preparations for this week's track event today

Well, the car is ready. Today's preparations/repairs included:

-Oil and Filter change
-Removal of AEM Cold Air Intake
-Installation of stock Air Box and brand new air filter
-Replacement of MAF sensor element
-Replacement of front Brake Rotors
-Swapped out PBR Ceramic rear pads for Hawk HP Plus (Street/Track compound), swapping out the front pads for the EBC Yellows at the track
-Flushed out old Motul RBF600 for new stuff
-Replaced Pollen Filter (supposed to be replaced every 20K, I got 80K out of mine!:-p)
And yesterday at work I balanced the track wheels/tires.

But yeah, I'm psyched! 2 more days.....

Default Keep it shiny side up and off of the grass.

Try not to say anything embarassing and keep the dickballery to a minimum. Oh and have fun.

Default No doubt.

I'll be surrounded by people from Motorgeek so its all good. I'm taking bets on how many people are going to ask me about the tire trailer. I'm also pretty sure that I'll be looking at Marc Swanson's tail lights and not the other way around this time...A GT3071R on a 20VTI5 will do that. :-)

Default Crap. I knew I forgot something! The pollen filter! I hope I can get mine replaced in time!

Oh, wait. I don't have one.

Sorry, Carson, I couldn't resist taking a shot. I lol'ed at the pollen filter replacement. :-)

Good weekend for me too. Got the idle problem solved on the Miata. Ready to go.

Default Meh, I haven't bothered to replace it, and my brother just so happened to have one for me

It was pretty filthy. No rodent nests though. :-)
