I would like to have a fire bottle handy inside the car, not in the trunk. Can anyone give me a suitable location for a 2000 A4 that won't be too much in the way?
If the bottle is in the trunk and you are tail ended, you could be SOL if you can't get the trunk open. I want to be able to grab the bottle even if I am trapped in the car.
Where do the racers put it - on the roll cage?
Thanks
John

Every one I've seen has been mounted to either a roll cage or to one of the pillars..usually the a pillar. And I've only ever seen tacky tricked out cars with them. Except of course the ones I've seen in actual race cars.
