And without doing the research, (or caring), I'd guess the Civic weighs more like 2800 lbs at least.....The Prelude SH weighs ~3000, no SH is ~2925.

it only comes with a VTEC engine, the only NON-VTEC engines in the civic lineup arent offered on the Si, therfore every Si has 160hp (or more with mods)

or would you happen to believe that the V-Tec came out in 1986 till 1994? V-Tec was introduced in 1995 previous SI's were rated anywhere from 120 hp - 140 hp depending on year.

"(for the previous generation)" i am only speaking about that which i know, which is the most recent generation of civic si's (up til 2000). these are the most common civic si's and i assume this is the generation of which A18T speaks. as for the previous ones, i have no idea what the actual horsepower number is, which is why i made no assertion about them.

i wouldnt have made the statement. i dont know enough about civic's to make assertions about the non-si's, but i do know what the numbers are for a stock Si from 99-00.
