Default THe SI never had anything in hte 140 hp range ...

it was either 125hp for the 92-95 5th gen civic or it was 160 fir the 6 th gen civic SI " Coupe"
THe SI was dropped from the line up in the 96-98 model yr. And was brought back as a coupe. If you add the 4th gen it had 108 hp. There wasnt even a 127 hp SI since that engine the EX engine never made it to the hatch back. THe only 140 hp engine handa has is the b18a used in the 94-2001 Acura integra. I used to be a Honda guy :}

Default

Exact same engine - just a slight manifold/exhaust change for the extra 2hp IIRC.

Default Andrew

before you go blasting ppl for citing inaccurate facts, at least make sure you have the correct ones...hav u ever read the weight measurements on the inside of driver's door or are you oblivious to their existence...o by the way do you not count the driver/passengers as weight or are the a4s so incredibly built that they make driver weight nonexistent? kinda makes u think bout soundin like a hypochrite

Default i only have 1270 more posts than you, im sure you know more about the A4 than I do....

listen, i wasnt trying to be an *******. it is a widely known fact that the A4, while nowhere near a featherweight, does NOT weigh more than 3500 lbs. last time i checked, people didnt cite VEHICLE weight as the weight of the vehicle AND passengers. if you were referring to it having passengers, fine, but clarify beforehand.

before you come in here with a cocky attitude about the A4 and about yourself, check the door panel specifications yourself. i know exactly what my GVWR is (and my car is across the state, 3 hours away so i didnt cheat). it is 4575 lbs. do you even know what GVWR means? it is vehicle weight plus passenger/cargo weight. basically, payload plus vehicle weight.

dont berate me on a forum that i have been surfing for almost 3 years, because you are virtually guaranteed to make an *** of yourself. have fun being stock!
