First time this has happenend - blinking check engine light for about 10 seconds?
I was making a pretty hard bank about to enter the interstate. 2nd gear WOT and noticed the check engine light come on and start blinking. I noticed what seemed to be a loss of power for just a split second and immediatly checked the revs and I was at 6k. I stayed on it and shifted into 3rd as I exited the bank. Car seemed kinda wierd until the check engine light went off about 10 seconds later and now everything is fine.
At first I thought I hit the rev limiter then remembered, I don't have a rev limiter plus I was only at 6k.
Anyone ever experience something like this?

How much gas was in the car?
Not sure how you "dont have" a rev limiter since there is a soft and hard rev limiter set, none of the chip tuners remove those limiters completely. Most tuners set the limiter to 7100-7300 rpms which is about where you want to stop anyway.

I don't have a vag and I would take it into the dealership but they would not get any readings because I would change out the ECU before I took it in.
