Default First track day is complete! PN request also.....yes I broke something.

I never knew what I was missing. This will not be the last.
The autocross course was setup on the VDA @ Beaver run. It's a huge (6.7 acres / 290,500 sq ft.....1,500 ft x 60 ft "lead-in" roadway) perfectly flat and smooth paved surface. The car ran great and I had a blast. I have never been able to break all 4 loose into a corner and experience oversteer in a quattro like that. Thank you PES.

On my 2nd to last run of the day, had a great launch, and within 60ft, my accelerator pedal went violently to the floor. I thought i snapped the throttle cable, or it just came out of it's bracket. I pulled off to the side and pushed it into the grass.

Upon further inspection, I broke the damn pedal right above the pivot point. Whose idea was it to use plastic?!!! Needless to say, I couldnt run anymore and now i need a new go pedal. I "fixed" the broken one enough to get me home....took it out....drilled a hole and ran a screw through it, the used some 5min plastic welder epoxy shtuff. I know this part can't be cheap....Carson? 99.5 2.8 AHA n-DBW.

This Lotus posted the FTD. It was on rails. Sickening how fast it could take corners.

Default Yes, in fact I do

I would also like to sign up for some instructor time. Where are you located? I am about 1.5hrs away, In Wheeling, WV. It's worth the drive for me to get there....the place is super clean and very well layed out.

You can find out everything you need to know on their website. The flat-out days look pretty interesting to me. I would like to do some of their crazy *** 007 and police training stuff too. The teach you how to PIT maneuver cars and wreck them......sounds cool. I've heard their one-on-one instructor training is top notch, maybe we can look into getting a small group together for a discount, as I think its kinda pricey.(ill have to check on actual cost)

www.beaverun.com

Default weird, i dont really see how it could break there

theres like no stress at that part, unless your throttle cable bound up or something, weird.
