Fixed a broken vac line. Is it true my CEL should go away after a couple of days?

Fixed a broken vac line. Is it true my CEL should go away after a couple of days?

Default CEL should go away after a couple of seconds w/ a VAG ;-)
disco your battery if you don't have a VAG. make sure you have the radio code before doing so. fault codes will still be there, but CEL will be gone provided that you actually fixed the problem causing it to go on

If u fixed it at the dealer, they should've erased the code. You can go back and ask them.

DIY fix. I thought I read somewhere if the condition does not persist, the CEL will go away.

Default I had the same issue. It will go away eventually if you fixed the prob.
But get a vag. What a great tool.
