Default A chip is programmed not to blow up your engine. It provides the engine with the correct

amount of fuel to air ratio, as well as controlling timing and other parameters.

You need to say far, FAR away from MBCs.

Default a bit of a starter...

k03 is the smallest, the k04 is a bit bigger, but not much. in reality they use the same internals, just a bit bigger wheels. the gt28rs is bigger and can flow about 350hp.. a step up from that is the 2871 which is a similar turbo to the 28rs, but has a bit larger comp wheel.. those are the most common and what you're lookin at

k03 < k04 < gt28r < gt28rs < gt2871r

Default so K04 wont really do much damage to engine and much stress to clutch....

saying that im driving normally about 90% of the time, but GT28R and up will do damage?

Default k04 is no problem..

depends on what engine you have and well you execute the setup.. but, personally, i would have no problem running up to 100bhp/rod on an aeb with a good tune, proper fueling, and a good intercooler.

there's a guy on motorgeek that ran a k26/t04e on his stock aeb for a long time, never opened it up.. that car has now been running a gt3071 over 400bhp (almost 350whp). many will tell you it can't be done, but it has.. the aeb is pretty stout. i know nothing about the capabilities of the later 19mm wrist pin'd 1.8ts
