Anyone heard of why flashers would spontaneously flash while the car is off and the flasher button is off? I have a 98 A4 1.8T. My co-workers are coming in this morning "Hey, do you want your flashers on??" I'm sayin Heck no!!!
Which is really cheesy cause I have a for sale sign in the window... and I am NOT trying to get peoples attention... maybe it wants to be sold! LOL
let me know if you have any ideas. Thanks.

My car has the internal motion sensor. If I leave my windows open on a hot day the alarm will go off. Eventually the horn will shut off and then somewhere else down the line the lights will turn off too. What an alarm!
Anyways you can disable that on the drivers side pillar.
Have no idea if you even have the feature but that's what happens to me.

I do have that feature, but the windows were up, and my co-workers didnt say the horn was on, otherwise they would have just said "Your alarm is going off!""
Maybe a bad relay switch or fuse? or battery? Hmm... we'll see.
Thanks.

I still think its the heat playing a trick on the sensors. I wonder if VAG-COM will tell you what status the vehicle is in when the lights are flashing.
