Default Flashing radio display

I saw a post a couple of days ago about the radio display flashing for no reason. I caught mine doing that yesterday and today on the way to work. Occured both times at the same point in my drive, thus at the same time following the start of the car. Maybe there is a link to the flashing and how long the car has been running. There is no interruption in the radio operation on the flash of the display. It never happens when I'm looking for it, only catch it out of the corner of my eye. Since all operates normally, is there any reason to have the dealer look at it? I'm sure they will not be able to duplicate the fault and will not know anything about the problem even though other report the same thing. BTW, my car is a 2001.5 A4.

Default Unfortunately, it's quite common.

I'm not gonna bother. It's just a waste of my time.
