Something very worth doing as my fluid was nasty black/brown when it should be green. Order up 3 liters of Pentosin CHF-11S(G20). Got mine at Impex for $14/liter plus shipping. Get a cheap baster at Walmart or wherever.
- Suck all old fluid out of reservoir
- Top off with new, no need to re-cap yet
- Start engine and turn lock to lock several times
- Shut off, suck old fluid out
- Repeat until fluid is clean. I went overboard and used nearly two full liters. Never can be too sure. By the 3rd or so time of doing this the fluid was noticeably cleaner and it was totally clean by the time I was done. Wouldn't be a bad idea to do this every two years with brake fluid and coolant. A little maintenance goes a long way.
