Default A big intercooler makes any turbo work better.

Just keep the size in check, as to not make it too large, the turbo would be filling the core with air instead of going to the engine intake = pressure loss.

Default Just installed an ER FMIC, lost 1-2 psi @WOT

about .5 second slower on CAPS. But it does hold boost longer. IAT is right around ambient. All this is preparation fro a BGT in the spring or summer.

But during a third sprint this afternoon, I watch the boost guage hit 19 psi, so I really don't know.

I wouldn't bother with a K03. maybe in an '01 running the X chip.

Default Just installed my Race Tec and here is what I noticed

My set up, 2001, apr chip, apr exhaust, apr stub mount, AWE DTS,

1. more engine vibration felt in driver seat at idle due to hard pipes all around
2. throttle more responsive, seems as if I can't keep it out of boost (my MPG sure shows it)
3. smoother through all rpm's and the stock turbo seems to hold boost longer

Butt dyno tells me it was a good add on and will be handy later for upgrades.
