Default F'n BIRDS!!!

I've had my car no more than a week and already i've been subjected to the hell that is bird ****. Well, i'm guessing that the dealer didn't put a very good coat of wax on there due to the fact that there is a indeliable stain left on the front of my new car. Even after cleaning, and using some Meguires #34 final inspection, i've still been unable to remove what looks like a giant water stain. I now realize that i'm going to have to put a real coat of wax on this car, but what can i do to remove this horrible stain? I hear alot of people touting the 3M Imperial Hand glaze as a good polish, but will it safely remove the stain from my new pride and joy? What do you detailing experts recommend? HELP!

Default 3M IHG all the way. Totally safe for the paint, I use it a few times a year....

Should get the job done. Follow it up with a good wax. Your car will look better than the day it was born.

Be safe. Do it by hand. Don't use a buffer.

Default Even wax wont stop it.

The only solutions are to get about a year on your paint to get it hard and to clean it off immediately before it can (and will) etch the clearcoat.

It is possible to polish/glaze most of the appearance of the etch out but with new paint you need to be careful because it is easy to scratch. And you need to wax after as the polish/glaze provides a little hiding fill but needs to be sealed in place.

I collected a few of these over the last year. I was finally able to hide them when I invested in the Griots machine polish/was system using the Porter Cable polisher. #3 polish and best of show wax did it for me.
