Default fog light project completed - lens restoration

i'll write a tech article on how to do this, for now...some pics:
<b>BEFORE</B>

<b>AFTER</b>
<img src="http://www.modifieda4.com/images/foglight-lens/IMG_1582.sized.jpg">
<i>results:</i>
as you can see the lenses were deeply pitted after 4 winters of sanded new england roads. After "restoration", easily %99.9 of the pits are removed, the lens surfaces are "as new" smooth. I wont be able to try them on the car until tomorrow.

Default i bought a glass repair kit from eastwood*edit*. its very aggressive and removes material.

its not a "polish" kit that griots sells etc. i dont have a link handy...the kits was about $45. i think you can get most of the kit stuff from 3m directly, making it cheaper. like i said, i took a bunch of pics of the process and will post them when i get time.

the total time for this was about 1hour going slow. very easy to do.

Default As long as your headlights are glass, it should work.

Somebody here is gonna ready this and try it on their polycarbonate headlight lenses. That may not be a good idea.
