Default Fog lights

I am attempting to upgrade my 1998 Audi A4 with OEM fog lights installed in the lower grilles of the front bumper. I have obtained a set of used OEM fog lights and grilles. when I removed the grilles from my front bumper I found there was no mounting bracket for the fog lights. Does anyone know the part number for this bracket or where I could obtain a pair.

Default bracket part number

8D0-807-103-S-GRU

sometimes called a bumper too.

you probably have the 8d0-807-103-d-gru bumper which is from the earlier cars... the 103-S bumper has the brackets in it.

bumpers are a modest $594 for the A4. Its actually less to buy an S4 bumper.

Default I cut my existing grills - and made L brackets and put in driving lights

I was going to run the wiring into the cabin and install another switch for them, but in the end I tied the relay for them into the parking lights - so they are on all the time. I like the added lighting in all conditions - and I can run them with only my running/parking lights on and not the headlamps.

Default I actually made my L brackets attach to the grill - not the bumpers

I also used black screws to hold the grill into the bumpers - as the added weight of the lights could cause the grills to pop out.

Happened to me - and I was pulled over by the police - who saw something hanging out of my car - and wanted to let me know.

Reggie attaching the fog lights to the grilles is the best idea yet. That is one idea you say why dident I think of that.

Default Here are some

Here is the top view

Here's a view of from behind. You can see the bracket I made (Not a L bracket - just a flat piece of metal) You can see the hole I drilled for the screw to hold in the grill better with the light. I used sheet metal screws that will attach to the bumper support behind.

Here is the view of the fitted grill and light - you can see the extra support machine screw:

And here is the relay for the lights:
