Default folks looking for new car

The rents have been leaning towards an SUV. Price range is around 40k and this is the retirement car, so saftey and reliability are the key words here. I've tried to push a sedan onto them, but looking through the options, car counterparts seem underpowered, overpriced and have alot less room. Nevertheless, here's what the family's been thinking about, and suggestions and comments are more than welcome.

-Acura MDX (so far 1st choice), MB ML350, BMW X5, A6, MB E350, BMW 525/530.

-When's the Touareg coming out???

-Why get an allroad???

Default Infinity FX45

300+ hp, nice (reminds me of an elevated 350Z + suv) styling, AWD, good features

If I *had* to own a SUV, the FX45 would be one of the very very few on my list.

Default Tell them to take advantage of the special A6 interest rates and the extended 2yr/100k mile warranty

for Audi Assured vehicles.

It's quite a bargain if you ask me.

My local dealer had a used 2002 A6 4.2 (has flared fenders) for $41k. It was too rich for my blood, but man, I really wanted it.

This also applies to Allroads (A6 platform).
