Default Followup on LEAN fuel condition -- VAG data.

Well, I posted this in the original thread but I figure everyone is probably not subscribed to it, so I would post a new thread now that I have more data.

As originally reported, my car is throwing code 17536 and some cylinder mis-fires.

The MAF is the leading culprit. RKA had indicated that if the MAF doesn't read above 150 gps at WOT then it's probably broken.

I took the car out yesterday for a quick run with the VAG hooked up and it wouldn't get over 89 gps on the MAF reading. Also, Lambda 1 and Lambda 2 stayed locked at -1.5 and 17.4 respectively.

I have included a link to a spreadsheet of the engine data for those that want to see all the values.

So is the consensus that it's a shot MAF? I have ordered the Bentley manual and am willing to try replacement myself if it's not too complicated. A local shop says they can get the MAF for me for $240.

http://home.comcast.net/~page.jason/LOG-01-032-001-002.CSV</a
