did you know you had a boost leak? I have a major problem going on now that I think may be this same problem. Before could only here turbo whine on passanger side, now I hear a hard sucking or blowing coming from somewhere on the driver side? Changed air filter with now change to problem. Any help would be great.

What year is your car? If it's a 2000 most likely it's your L hose. With boost leaks your car
overboosts and you car's computer sends into safe mode or "limp mode". Where are you located? If you're in NJ or near I can help you try to find it.

If you have a 2000 with the stock "L"hose then you are way overdue.
Even if it dosen't look torn replace it. This torn hose causes all kinds of problems. Buy it online for about $16. It's $29 at the dealer.<ul><li><a href="http://www.modifieda4.com/web/tech/connecting-hose.html">This is the article.</a></li></ul>

That was it
That thing was torn to ****. Every thing seams normal. I am still wanting to see if I have a boost leak somewhere. Since purchasing the car it seams like the throtle was slow to respond. Thanks again for the help
