Default Found broken elbow, need help finding replacement

I was changing my oil today and saw a crack on a hose, I pushed a little on it to see if it was a rubber hose or hard plastic. It was hard plastic but the whole elbow pushed out. It looks easy to replace, the number on the side is VRT 058 133 758 8, any idea where I could find this?

Thanks!

It was very helpful that you posted a photo of the part number. You can buy it here:

Thanks! Right now its back in place but air is leaking out around it. Is it ok for a few days to have one shipped or should I see if I can get one from the dealer sooner? I typically drive about 100 miles a day.

It might put you in limp mode and your car will be really slow but it wont hurt anything.

I doubt you'll have any problems, you've probably been driving around with it like that for weeks already....

Probably..... I have noticed it's not been as peppy lately but was figuring I couldn't expect much for an 10 year old car with 180K......

You should check under your intake for other broken hoses - rubber and hard. The 1.8T is deceptive and there are many ways for broken hoses to go unnoticed, even in plain site like the one you just found. Often the rubber hoses tear, twist, and then the twisting makes the tear difficult to see. Look carefully....hopefully that is the only one.

There's nothing special about the overpriced hoses that are being sold by online retailers here. Just take the broken piece to a local auto parts store and find a replacement - you might need to cut it.
