This whole ricer thing is PLAYED THE HELL OUT.. if the car is fast and handles, then its dope.. Ricer doesnt mean Jap car with Nitrous. What about the German Cars with nitrous? is that rice too then? or would that be Sauerkraut? Whats the difference.. this post is stupid.

Personally, I refer to ridicuously "souped" up Japenese cars as "ricers"...
any other cars (Ford, Chevy, VW, etc.) I call "racers". As in, "Go racer go!" As long as the car has something under the hood to back it up, I don't look down on these guys. I'm Asian by the way so hopefully you don't think I'm using the term "ricer" in a bigoted way. I have to laugh though when I see a Civic, Focus, Beemer whatever w/ so many add on parts that their weight alone negates any perceived performance gains. Really tacky paint jobs (hot pink, smurf blue) don't do it for me either. But hey, to each his own. =)
